Time Well Spent
Play a game of Demon Destruction.
Reach the Helix Stone
First go to the nearby room. Watch the hologram that will appear there and then pick up the Data Log lying in the left corner.
In the next room you will find a Siphon Grenade. This grenade type creates an area of energy which damages the enemies and heals your character. It is a good idea to use it against group of enemies when you have small number of health points. Jump down the nearby shaft after collecting it and kill the incoming enemies. Among them there will be a few Possessed Soldiers on which you can complete the challenge.
Once the battle is over, walk to the location nearby. Open the ammunition chest and then walk around the large chest lying nearby. You will find a tunnel leading to the next location. Inside it there is Mega Health (secret).
On the other side there is area with Gore Nest. Destroy the nest and then kill the appearing demons. The Haste power-up which lies in the middle above and the BFG ammunition on the very bottom will be helpful in battle. Don't forget about performing Glory Kills on the Possessed Soldiers.
Walk through the unlocked door once the last demon is dead. Kill the Imp and climb up. Turn around before you open another door and then jump into the tunnel. It will lead you to a room with Elite Guard and with Data Log.
There will be a corridor behind the previously mentioned door. You will walk through it to the room with Combat Support Drone.
Use the shaft in the ceiling to climb one floor above after upgrading the weapon.
Slightly further you will encounter a few weaker enemies. Kill them, pick up the Data Log on the right and then open the ventilation shaft in the wall on the left.
By jumping repeatedly down you will reach the room with Automap.
Now you can go back up and walk through the door at the end of the room. Look down after you walk upstairs. You will notice a hatch that you can open.
Go ahead on the other side and then climb one floor higher through the hole at the end of the tunnel. You will reach the first Rune Trial on this level. In order to obtain the Rich Get Richer rune you must kill all the enemies before the time runs out. Sadly, the killed enemies won't leave any items behind. The key to victory is to keep distance. Rockets deal great number of damage both to enemies and to the protagonist if they die too close. First quickly get rid of the enemies on the left and then hide behind the pillar and kill the Cacodemon. Further in the encounter your priority should be to eliminate the shooting opponents. Only in second order you should kill the charging demon by climbing on the stairs and jumping down. For completing the challenge you will receive a rune thanks to which you won't lose ammunition when you have 100 armor points.
Now open the nearby door and go further to the left. Use the medical station at the end of the corridor filled with demons and then walk slightly further. You will reach a hole in the floor through which you can get to the room with demons. The battle won't be too hard, but don't forget about picking up the power-up in the middle in order to make it easier. You can also use teleports in order to avoid being surrounded.
Go to the other end of the location once the battle is over and open the sluice located there. Behind it you will find an Elite Guard.
Further road leads upstairs to the right or to the left from the secret. After opening the sluice you will start a battle with large number of enemies among which there will be many Pinkies. In order to make the battle with these fast beasts easier, pick up the Haste floating in the middle.
Behind the second artifact on the left there is also Mega Health and a tunnel that leads to collectible (Eliteguy).
Open the door on the other end after collecting all items and killing demons. Then use the elevator to enter Lazarus Archives.
Once you're inside, climb floor above from the right side. There will be a red panel there and behind it a red light on the wall.
Now you can use it in order to unlock the second collectible (Toxicguy).
Go forth and you will reach a place with Data Log and with computer that unlocks passage to a hidden room.
Inside you will find armor, Argent Cell, ammunition chest and BFG ammunition.
Use another panel once you collect everything. This will remove the security lock from Helix Stone you bypassed before. But before you go to the artifact, first check one of the computers at the wall. There will be a game there that will allow you to complete the challenge.
Listen to the long monologue after activating the big stone. Then kill the appearing beasts. Once you kill the last demon, stairs leading down will appear.
Reclaim the crucible
One floor below you will encounter other enemies. Kill them, watch the hologram and then enter the corridor on the right. It will lead you to a room with a hole in the ground.
On the right from it there is a lever.
Pull it and jump one floor below. Inside the hole there will be an Elite Guard and an entrance to the Classic Map.

Go back up after obtaining both secrets and use the panel located there.
An elevator will appear. You must jump on it. Once above, go forward and then drop one floor below. After you walk through the door, the demons will attack. Kill them and turn to the right. You will reach a room with medical station and with computer which you must use.
Go to the room nearby once the short scene ends. Gotham bold font mac. New demons to kill will appear there. Enter the room above on the right after the last of them is dead. You will find a tunnel there that will lead you to the place with the last Elite Guard and with the Rune Trial.
Doom Play A Game Of Demon Destruction Cheats
In this challenge you must kill all enemies with the Gauss Cannon before the time runs out. The enemies won't leave any items and the protagonist will have only one health point. The key to success is use the pillars and covers and to keep strafing. It is best to eliminate the stronger enemies with alternative shot. Hide behind them behind cover, load the bullet and shoot it when the enemy is visible. For completing the trial you will receive the Saving Throw rune which will resurrect you just after you receive a deadly blow.
Enter the narrow corridor in the middle once the challenge is completed. Jump down and then go to the blue portal at the end of the tunnel.
You will move to a place filled with demons. First get rid of most of the beasts with the Gauss Cannon. Hide from time to time behind the cover, then run to the center and keep moving quickly by using the gravity jumps. There will be many Imps in this location, they can be easily killed with a weaker weapon. Keep BFG charges for stronger beasts that appear at the end. You should also pick the Haste lying below and the Quad Damage power-up that floats in the middle. You can use the beginning of the battle to complete one of the challenges - simply shoot the BFG correctly.
Once the battle ends, jump to the round elevator and ride one floor higher. There you will find the last Data Log and many useful items. Collect them and use the medical station hanging on the wall. Full health will be needed since behind the big door you will encounter the Cyberdemon.

High score table. References to the release dates of Doom and Doom 3 are evident.
This article is about the mini-game from Doom (2016). For the gore mechanic from Doom Eternal, see Destructible demons.
Demon Destruction is a mini-game in Doom (2016) which can be found on a computer terminal in the office of Dr. Olivia Pierce in the Lazarus Labs. It appears to have been the last program which Olivia was using before she decided to unleash the Hell wave that started the invasion, as the terminal states that the game has been placed in suspended mode and can be resumed. Doing so allows the player to play the game.
Demon Destruction is a match-three puzzle game in the style of Bejeweled and Candy Crush, with its alliterative name being an explicit reference to the latter popular mobile game. The pieces are all monsters from the classic Doom series and must be eliminated by moving pieces so that the monsters align into rows or columns of three or more. Matching exploding barrels will result in an explosion which eliminates many surrounding pieces at once for increased score.
The high score table of the game contains multiple Easter eggs, many of which are references to other Doom games. The game uses the same background as Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3, a screenshot of E4M9: Fear, and features graphics based on the classic status bar, including the Doomguy's face. It also plays assorted Doom and Doom II music tracks at random.

Bugs[edit]
- Pieces sometimes do not fully fall into place to replace ones which have been destroyed, remaining in the row above their proper position. Once this happens, it will persist for the rest of the current game, and new pieces moved into the problematic locations will move to the wrong row visually. The problem is cosmetic only - the pieces can still be matched against as if they were in the correct locations.
- It is possible to cause the high score table to remain on-screen during a game by toggling in and out of the game too quickly. If this happens, one of the existing high scores will additionally flash as if it is a new entry when a game is completed.
- The high score is not remembered between games.
- The baron of Hell makes the cyberdemon's death sound instead of its own proper death sound effect.
