There may be an argument for a remastered New Vegas version akin to Red Dead Redemption's 4K update for the Xbox One X, but just as Rockstar Games is pushing ahead with Red Dead Redemption 2, a New Vegas 2 makes just as much sense. Fallout: New Orleans Would Be Perfect. Pretty much the title. Whilst i would love a 3 and NV remaster, i feel that 1 and 2 deserve a remaster or remake more. Whilst 3 and NV may look outdated they still look fine today and are easily playable by most people. 1 and 2 however feel outdated to their very core (due to it being 20+ years old and stuff) and are very hard to get into, even for some hardcore fallout fans.

So you’ve played your hand here in New Vegas, you have helped my city fend of the Legion and the NCR. You sorted the families and helped make my Securitrons a force to be reckoned with, now its time to go all in. Courier, as you know i precured some G.E.C.Ks from the Vault records, bringing the divide back from ruin I have established industry and allowed more people to settle, and with that, allowed not just Vegas. but the entire Mojave to prosper. The last piece is to bring your knowledge on trade to the forefront of our new nation. Provide the Mojave with full industrial and commuter services and i assure you the riches you now know will seem like pocket money. we shall forge this nation together you and I …
This map is a reworked version of Firelord Derpy’s New Vegas map, Things have changed quite a bit so please read the change log! Link to the original below and if you find any issues please let me know via the comments! I have changed the map to an experimental size but this has ment a lot more has had to change, i have had to put EVERY town and industry where they where in the original and had to rework the terrain for the new size. this process has taken just over a month to complete. However the most accurate to New Vegas will be the original map by Firelord Derpy
CHANGES – Map size now Experimental
– Reworked terrain
– New road layout and highway system to help with traffic flow
– New Vegas has completely changed, the road layout is unrecognisable and the city has been rotated, whilst this is a pain for some it was necessary
– Settlement name changes, this is manly for lore to remove references to the NCR and Legion as i doubt House would want any inspiration for copycats. this said some NCR references do remain in order to try and keep good faith with the nation
-The divide has been renewed, a large lake now sits there with the towns now populated and prospering – Most settlements have been enlarged from there normal size (Small towns now medium ect) This is to go with the fact that the map is larger
– Industries are named from the towns generically to prevent confusion when using the routes interface, they do not have the normal in game names
– Snow, trees, fauna, farmland and resources added where appropriate
– Divide completely reworked
– New Vegas Elevated motorway higher to prevent the town from trying to connect roads to it

Fallout New Vegas Remake
Modder ‘Kuzja80’ has released a 16GB AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack for Fallout New Vegas. This pack will increase/upscale the quality of almost all of the game’s original textures by four times. Furthermore, it does not contain any custom or new textures, something that most Fallout New Vegas fans will appreciate.
Similarly to the Oblivion AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack, this pack for Fallout New Vegas corrects upscaled alpha channels and upscaled normal maps. Moreover, this pack features seamless textures (after segmentation). The modder has implemented a full seamless texture segmentation technique to bypass any VRAM limitations.
In order to enhance the original textures, Kuzja80 used cuda, pytorch and his custom neural net model. Additionally, this pack does not contain textures that were below < 64×64. The modder also skipped textures from the “interface” folder.
Now while the modder did not provide any before/after comparison screenshots, he did share some screenshots for this new HD Texture Pack. Do note that this pack only improves the quality of the original textures and nothing more. Therefore, you should not be expecting any major lighting improvements, or additional graphical effects. As said, this pack also upscales the default textures, meaning that some may not look THAT sharp due to the poor color and low detail of the original low-res versions.
You can download this new Fallout New Vegas HD Texture Pack mod from here.
Lastly, you may be interested in another AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack for Fallout: New Vegas, using the ESRGAN upscaling technique. The backyardigans games super spy. Due to the different AI upscaling models, there are some minor differences between these two packs. Obviously, these two packs cannot come close to the upcoming Fallout 4: New Vegas Mod. However, they can at least enhance the game’s visuals for all those that want to replay it.
